Children, families, and educators are reaping the benefits of a new communication and documentation platform at Family Day Care Services in Toronto.
Family Day Care Services (Family Day) has been using Storypark across its network of child care programs to transform the way educators document children's learning and communicate with families.
Family Day operates child care programs, extended day and school-age programs, and licensed home child care in Toronto, Ontario. With more than 70 years of history, Family Day is one of Toronto's most established and respected child care providers, serving thousands of children and families across the city.
Since implementing Storypark, Family Day has seen significant improvements in family engagement, documentation quality, and educator confidence.
'Storypark has changed the way I think about documentation,' said one Family Day educator. 'I used to see it as a chore. Now I see it as a way of really communicating with families about who their child is and what they're learning. The response from families has been incredible.'
'I love being able to see what my daughter is doing during the day,' said one Family Day parent. 'It helps me connect with her after school and have real conversations about her day. I feel so much more involved in her learning now.'
'Storypark has given us a way to see what's happening across our programs in real time,' said one Family Day leader. 'We can celebrate great practice, identify areas where teams need support, and make sure we're consistently providing the quality of care that families expect from us.'
Storypark is proud to partner with Family Day Care Services in supporting their mission to provide high-quality, accessible child care for Toronto families.
